Job description

We are seeking a gifted and creative individual for a Business Development Associate employment opportunity on Bisnow’s London team. This is a dynamic role that fits high energy, creative, collaborative and intuitive individuals. 


Responsible for lead qualification, consulting clients on their marketing strategy, pitching marketing proposals, winning new business, delivering a high level of customer experience, account management and generally ensuring that our revenue continues to grow at the rapid rate we aspire over the coming years.

Our mission is to inform, connect and advance the commercial real estate community to do more business. We aspire to be the most data-driven and humanizing digital media, live events and intelligence platform in the galaxy — and through this effort, drive the industry to do smarter business. 


After going through a private equity acquisition, via The Wicks Group, Bisnow expanded into Europe in late 2016 and within a year and a half has grown to be the largest commercial real estate news and events business in the UK & Ireland. We’re now active in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Dublin. 


The Bisnow sales team is responsible for forming brand partnership with a range of clients within the industry, that raise the brand equity of our clients and help their businesses grow. We build innovative marketing campaigns through event sponsorships, advertising, native advertising and lead generation products that deliver real and tangible value to our clients. 


Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with the London team to expand into new regional markets, which you will eventually take over and run
  • Collaborate with the London team to accelerate sales cycle and to extend reach into target accounts
  • Prospect and consult new clients on their marketing strategy using phone, email and in person meetings
  • Present compelling proposals to new and existing clients, that they will see value in and will secure revenue for Bisnow Media
  • Constant lead generation through various channels
  • Document daily activities in Salesforce CRM
  • Work with a positive, cross functional team on an everyday basis to make certain of successful sponsorship, marketing and financial performance of these events

Requirements

  • B2B sales experience a plus, but not a necessity  
  • Commercial Real Estate experience a plus, but not a necessity  
  • Excellent phone & email communication skills Salesforce.com experience a plus, but not a necessity
